Managing an outbreak following a confirmed case of infectious disease requires staff to follow specific guidelines regarding cleaning and infection control.
These outbreak procedures are for managing outbreaks of an infectious disease (including but not limited to Norovirus or Coronavirus COVID-19). They may be applied to managing an outbreak in an aged care facility, managing an outbreak in a shelter or any service with shared facilities such as dining rooms, lounge areas and bathrooms.
