This is the second Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for CSIA and furthers our commitment to the reconciliation journey which is motivated by respect and a desire to build meaningful relationships and friendships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations.

Words on their own are not enough. This is our Innovate RAP which has been developed with Reconciliation Australia. It holds us accountable to actions within our sphere of influence, the Community Services Industry.

The plan commits us to take action across the systems we work in, with the organisations we work with and the individuals with whom we have relationships.

We make a public promise through this document to take action in a way that is meaningful, open to critique and ongoing evolution. We know that trying and failing is better than not trying at all, as long as we are prepared to say sorry when we get it wrong. This is our commitment to reconciliation and to building friendship and relationships on the journey with and guided by, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and we will work hard at it.
