Brooke Prentis, GAICD, CA, BCom, BA, Grad Cert Theology, is an Aboriginal Christian Leader. She is a descendant of the Wakka Wakka peoples (one of 300 nations in the lands now called Australia).

Brooke is a Chartered Accountant. She has more than 15 years senior management experience in the corporate world, including top 100 ASX listed companies. Brooke serves on a number of boards.

Brooke is the Aboriginal spokesperson for Common Grace (, a growing movement of more than 45,000 Australian Christians passionate about Jesus and Justice. She is also the coordinator of the Grasstree Gathering (, a growing network of more than 200 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Christian Leaders from across Australia and across denominations.

Brooke is a 2019 Anglican Deaconess Ministries Senior Fellow. Through this she is working on a project to resource the Australian Church to engage, build, and deepen relationship with Aboriginal peoples, Aboriginal Christian Leaders, and Aboriginal justice.

Brooke is a founding Australian board member of NAIITS, a global Indigenous Theological Institute focussed at Masters and PhD levels. She is currently studying a Masters of Theology through NAIITS, in partnership with Whitley College and the University of Divinity. In addition to this she is a scholar of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture. Brooke has written and co-written a number of theological papers in Australia and Internationally.

Brooke works ecumenically speaking on issues of Justice affecting Australia and sharing a message of friendship between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples.

A much sought after speaker and writer, she is a community pastor and advocate who has a vision “to build an Australia built on truth, justice, love and hope”.

Brooke has appeared on national television and radio broadcasts including ABC’s The Drum, NITV’s The Point, Soul Search with Dr Meredith Lake, God Forbid with James Carleton, and Sunday Nights with John Cleary.
