Ivan Frkovic is a distinguished mental health specialist with demonstrated history working in the non-profit and government sectors across Queensland and nationally.    

He is currently the Commissioner for the Queensland Mental Health Commission and Adjunct Professor for The University of Queensland. He brings substantial policy, academic and patient-centred experience to the Community Services Reform Council.   

Ivan has worked extensively within the mental health system in Queensland for more than twenty-five years and holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Welfare Administration and Planning from The University of Queensland.  

Ivan’s state-wide vision and leadership will contribute to the vision and value of the Community Services Reform Council. He will support the bringing together of all sectors to focus on delivering better community services to vulnerable people in Queensland.
