As CSIA’s Manager, Industry Influence, Sarah plays a high-level leadership role in key areas of the organisation to advance the Community Services Industry. She is a key member of the executive leadership team.
Sarah brings together Industry through collaborations and partnerships with a system-level approach to the big policy, reform and key issues.
She is passionate about empowering Industry to come together for the big conversations and is leading a number of our pieces of work around reform, policy influence, child safe organisations, resilience and business development.
She brings a wealth of experience and expertise across policy, reform and the business of service delivery from her roles in government and community services organisations, as well as running her own successful consultancy. Sarah has also led policy development and advocacy on a wide range of social and economic policy issues relating to people experiencing poverty and disadvantage.
Her knowledge, skills and expertise covers community engagement; policy advocacy; organisational positioning; public and community sector governance; partnership development; policy research and analysis; integrated service delivery; facilitation; mentoring; writing and editing.
Sarah is the driving force behind CSIA’s Reform Council investigating the big issues facing Industry and exploring new solutions for real change. In 2021, the Reform Council are looking at the four key areas of the landmark Centre for Social Impact Moving Forward report: integration, workforce, outcomes and stewardship.
