The opportunity
The CSIA is seeking a highly experienced, influential and motivated Chair to lead and contribute to the work of the newly established Community Services Reform Council.

This paid position requires the Chair to attend at least four full day meetings per annum in Brisbane. There will potentially be out of session work to be completed.

About you
To become the inaugural Chair of the Community Services Reform Council you will possess:

  • demonstrated experience in transformational leadership and an exceptional reputation across Australia as a champion of social and economic reform issues
  • a proven ability to build, manage and influence a broad range of stakeholders across industry, government, academia, media and commerce
  • demonstrated leadership experience at Board and/or executive management level
  • an awareness of the unique role of community service organisations in designing and delivering policy initiatives
  • proven ability to lead successful outcomes through integrity, courage and critical thinking
  • an AICD qualification would be desirable, although individuals with significant Board Chair experience will also be considered.
