The opportunity
The CSIA is seeking highly experienced, influential and motivated Board members to contribute to the work on the newly established Community Services Reform Council.

This is an unpaid position that requires the Board member to attend at least four full day meetings per annum in Brisbane. There will potentially be out of session work to be completed.

About you

To become an inaugural member of the Community Services Reform Council you will possess:

  • significant Board experience with complementary sector experience
  • an exceptional reputation across Australia as a champion of social and economic reform issues
  • a proven ability to build, manage and influence a broad range of stakeholders across industry, government, academia, media and commerce
  • an awareness of the unique role of community service organisations in designing and delivering policy initiatives
  • proven ability to lead successful outcomes through integrity, courage and critical thinking
  • an AICD qualification would be desirable, although individuals with significant professional Board experience will also be considered.
