Meet Mick Austin

Mick is a highly motivated, self-starting individual who puts quality and outcomes at the forefront of practice.

He brings extensive leadership experience from front line practice through to management and director roles in the Community Services Industry in the UK and Australia.

Mick has worked in residential child care, child protection, fostering and adoption work for 28 years.

He has a strong understanding of compliance, legislative and regulatory environments impacting the out-of-home care  sector.

Mick believes in collaborative practice and welcomes the opportunity to work with other Community Service Reform Council members to focus the big picture and develop ideas to promote alternative and creative solutions.
