We have partnered with the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training to bring the Industry Workforce Advisor Program to the Community Services Industry in Queensland.
Industry Workforce Advisors have been established under the Good people. Good jobs: Queensland Workforce Strategy 2022–2032 to help employers:
- identify solutions to workforce challenges
- connect with relevant Queensland programs and funding, industry-based initiatives and grant funding, and Australian Government wage subsidies and employer incentives.
Workforce planning, tools and advice are all useful regardless of your business size, how long you’ve been in business or your level of experience with workforce planning.
Workforce Planning Assistance is currently being offered to eligible community services organisations under the Queensland Government funded Industry Workforce Advisor program.
What is Workforce Planning Assistance and why do I want it?
Workforce Planning Assistance is a service offered by the Industry Workforce Advisor to help you navigate the workforce planning process.
How do you know if you have the workforce you need now and for the future without:
- a deep dive into your future focused organisational strategy
- a complete understanding of the challenges, risks and opportunities ahead, and
- an understanding of the resources you have at your disposal?
The workforce planning process will help you:
- understand your organisation and its operating environment
- gather and generate the information you need to analyse your current and potential workforce
- use that information to determine your workforce gaps
- convert and translate those gaps into strategies and actions that you will continue to develop and build on to provide solutions to your future workforce demands.
The Industry Workforce Advisor has extensive workforce planning experience in the Community Services Industry and a robust understanding of the workforce ecosystem.
Through the Workforce Planning Assistance service, you can tap into that experience to understand the resources, tools, initiatives, incentives and experiences of others who have travelled this road before you — who have experienced similar workforce issues — and created strategies and solutions that really work!
